Your Guide to Making the Most of Whistler's Season Finale
Right now, the ski season is still going strong in Whistler, in just one week in March we got 107cm of snow. As the days get longer and the temperature gets milder, we can feel spring creeping in. The freshly released information on the last day of operation for the season and updated spring hours brings a wave of excitement for those looking to squeeze in the last bit of snowy adventure. In this blog, we're sharing useful information to make your last skiing days this season absolutely awesome.
Which Mountain is Open for Spring?
In 2024, Blackcomb Mountain's last day for skiing is April 14, 2024, while Whistler Mountain's final skiing day is May 20, 2024.
Lifts operate from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until April 14, 2024. From April 15 to May 20, 2024, lift hours shift to 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
How to get to and from Whistler Mountain?
Our hotel resides on Blackcomb Mountain, scheduled to close after April 14, 2024. Thus, to ski Whistler Mountain this spring, you'll need to access it from either Whistler Village or Creekside Village. Given its proximity to us, we recommend using the Whistler base for access. Whistler Village is easily reachable from our hotel; simply hop on the free shuttle #5 to the Gondola Transit Exchange, and the gondola awaits just steps away.
