Whistler Event Highlights

Whistler, renowned for its world-class ski slopes and vibrant village life, will host several key events during the Invictus Games. The Whistler Invictus Village will come alive from February 9 to 13, 2025, offering free daily concerts, live sports competition viewing locations, cultural displays, and family-friendly activities. Located along the Whistler Village Stroll, the Invictus Village will be open from 11 AM to 5 PM, providing an interactive and festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Daily Experiences to Look Forward To

As the Games unfold, each day will bring unique opportunities to connect with the energy of the Invictus Games.

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the village square will host an exciting lineup of live entertainment. The day begins with DJ Ira’s Dance Party at 2:30 PM, followed by performances by Big Love, Taylor James, and The Hairfarmers throughout the afternoon.

The excitement continues on Monday, February 10, 2025, with the Skeleton Finals taking place at the Whistler Sliding Centre from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In the Village Square, DJ Foxy Moron kicks off the entertainment at 2:30 PM, setting the stage for live performances by The Spiritual Warriors, Jim Cuddy, and Barney Bentall.

Tuesday, February 11, 2025, offers a mix of sporting excellence and vibrant music. The Nordic Cross-Country and Biathlon Finals will take place at Whistler Olympic Park, while Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding Novice Finals are scheduled at the Whistler Blackcomb Alpine Venue. These events run from morning through mid-afternoon. Meanwhile, in the Village Square, DJ Whitness brings the beats at 2:30 PM, leading into live sets by The Boom Booms and Five Alarm Funk.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the advanced competitors take center stage with the Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding Intermediate/Advanced Finals at Whistler Blackcomb. The Village Square will once again be filled with music, featuring performances by Lazy Syrup Orchestra and Hey Ocean!, bookending an afternoon of fun.

Finally, Thursday, February 13, 2025, rounds out the festivities with more music in the Village Square, including DJ Vinyl Ritchie at 2:30 PM and a high-energy performance by Skratch Bastid at 3:30 PM.   

Sporting Events in Whistler

Whistler will host three key sporting events that highlight the athleticism and determination of the competitors:

• Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding: These events will be held at Whistler Blackcomb, where competitors of all skill levels will test their abilities on the renowned slopes of North America’s premier ski resort.
• Nordic Skiing and Biathlon: Taking place in the serene Callaghan Valley at Whistler Olympic Park, these endurance events promise moments of both tension and triumph.
• Skeleton: The Whistler Sliding Centre, an iconic venue from the 2010 Winter Olympics, will provide a thrilling backdrop for the Skeleton Finals.
